Pradeep Gawande is an accomplished individual who cleared the civil service examination in 2012, after completing his MBBS. He secured All India Rank 478 in the UPSC Civil Services Exams in 2012 and became a 2013 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. Pradeep has held various roles throughout his career. After completing his training, he served as the assistant collector of Bundi and worked as the Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Chemical Fertilizers and SDM in Dholpur in 2015.
He then served as the CEO of Jodhpur Zilla Parishad from November 2016 to May 2018 and worked as the CEO of the Bikaner Municipal Council from April 2018 to February 2020. Pradeep was appointed as District Collector in Churu on July 2, 2020, where he served until January 6, 2021. He was then appointed as the MD of RSLDC in January 2021, where he worked until October 2021. Currently, he is the Director at Archeology & Museums in Rajasthan, a position he began holding in March 2022.

Controversy
In 2021, Pradeep Gawande’s name was linked to a bribery case. While he was serving as the Chief Manager of RSLDC, the Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested two individuals, Rahul Kumar Garg and Ashok Sangwan, for accepting a bribe of Rs 5 lakh. During the investigation, Pradeep Gawande, who was the managing director of RSLDC, was called in for questioning. The Director-General of ACB, BL Soni, stated in a press conference that Pradeep Gawande was asked specific questions, including why permission for a particular training form was cancelled and if the process of granting permission was started again under what circumstances.
