Prior to acting, she was a trained dancer and appeared on several dance reality shows. She pursued a medical degree in Tbilisi, Georgia, but was offered the role of Malar in the film Premam by Alphonse Putharen. After the film’s release, she returned to her studies, but took a month’s leave to act in her second film, Kali. Recently, she has been pursuing higher studies in Georgia.

Sai Pallavi Senthamarai, commonly known as Sai Pallavi, is an Indian actress who has appeared in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu movies. She was born on May 9th, 1992 in Kotagiri, Tamil Nadu to Senthamarai Kannan and Radha. She has an elder sister named Pooja who is also an actress. Sai Pallavi was raised and educated in Coimbatore and her mother tongue is Tamil. She completed her medical education at the Tbilisi State Medical University in 2016 and holds an MBBS degree.
Sai Pallavi made her acting debut in the Malayalam movie Premam in 2015 which was a superhit and garnered her a lot of public attention. She is also a talented trained dancer and had participated in dance reality programs like Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva on Vijay Television in 2008 and Dheer Ultimate Dance program(D4) on ETV Telugu. After her debut in Premam, she took a break from acting to focus on her studies and returned to the screen with her second film, Kali, in 2016.
