Samantha Akkineni got into modeling after attending a few modeling shows, where she was discovered by Ravi Varman. She made her acting debut in the 2010 Telugu movie “Ye Maaya Chesave” directed by Gautham Menon, which was a commercial success and won her the Filmfare Award for “Best Female Debut”. Samantha has since received various awards including Filmfare, Nandi awards for her performances. She received the Best Tamil Actress and Best Telugu Actress awards from Filmfare in the same year.
