Shweta Tiwari Career
Shweta Tiwari was interested in acting from her childhood. She started working at the age of 12 in a travel agency where she was paid Rs. 500 per month. After finishing her graduation, she started giving auditions for TV serials. She made her TV debut in 1999 with the show Kaleerein on Doordarshan. Later, she got a role in the TV show Ane Wala Pal in 2000, which was aired on the now-defunct DD-Metro channel. She also played the role of Anika in the TV series Kaahin Kisii Roz. However, she gained immense popularity after playing the lead role of Prerna in the TV show Kasauti Zindagi Kay from 2001 to 2008.
In 2010, she won the reality TV show Bigg Boss season 4, becoming the first woman to do so. She also appeared in the show Parvarrish- Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi in 2013 and played the role of Sweety Ahluwalia. In 2015, she played the role of Bindiya Rani in the TV serial Begusarai on &TV. Apart from TV serials and reality shows, Shweta has also shown her talent in movies. She made her debut in the film industry in 2004 with the movie Madhoshi, and later appeared in several other movies like Aabra ka Daabra, Bin Bulaye Baraati, and Married to America. Shweta has also featured in various TV commercials for different brands.
