Sony Pictures Entertainment still owns some rights to Marvel properties and has an ongoing relationship with Marvel and Disney at this time, but how their films will tie into the MCU remains to be seen. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (May 5, 2023)

There’s no word yet on whether Baron Zemo (Daniel Brühl) will be part of the team, but fans are speculating that General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (Harrison Ford) might join and become the MCU Red Hulk. However, Valentina de Fontaine could also become Red She-Hulk, as Marvel often adapts elements loosely from the comics. The Thunderbolts are the antihero counterpart of the Avengers in Marvel Comics and have a large roster of members.
